Valia Tsirigoti was born in 1986 in Limassol of Cyprus and grew up in Athens, where she is currently working. She is a Psychosocial Specialist in Culture and Emotional Education through Art and a Mental Health counselor with an emphasis on social reintegration and gender issues. She has published several poems and texts in various print and online magazines
